Resumo


The search for efficiency in the cooperativist credit sector has led the cooperatives to adopt new technologies and new managerial knowledge. Among such tools, the Data Mining techniques have outstanding in recent years as a sophisticated methodology in the search of hidden "knowledge" in the databases of the organizations. The credit concession process is a central operation in a credit cooperative, in this way, the use of instruments that aid this operation are willing and they can become a key factor in the credit management. This study had in view to develop models to analyze the capacity of the cooperated in liquidating the commitments, by using Decision Tree – J4.8 algorithm and Artificial Neural Net – MultlayerPerceptrom algorithm. This study concluded that for the problem proposed, the Decision Tree had better performance and that can aid the cooperative decision process
