Resumo


This article describes the results of research conducted with the objective of identifying the innovative teacher psychological type from the conceptual matrix of Jung, showing the mental processes involved in decision-making to incorporate innovative tools in the educational practices. Taken as sample a group of teachers, indicated by the Distance Education Group of a university, which spontaneously incorporated into their practice the TelEduc, WEB environment for Distance Education. The methodology combined the theoretical research and descriptive, using the deductive research method. To analyze the innovative teachers psychological type’s a Keirsey test was applied, adapted from Carin Maria Schmitt (2006) model. The results allowed to conclude that 86.6% of teachers selected are guided by the external power and 86.6% observe the facts by intuition, which defines as innovative profile of the type targeted by the action
